Beware of Green Shirts.

In 1948, Winston Churchill gave a speech to the House of Commons.  He slightly changed the original quote but the meaning is still the same.  “Those who fail to learn from history are condemned to repeat it.”

In May 1966, Mao’s Cultural Revolution, the Red Guard utilized the youth to destroy old ideas, customs, habits and culture.  Anyone that spoke out against the state was punished, assaulted, lost their job, residence and finances.  Thousands were killed, or sent to prison, never to be seen again.  An entire family might be punished.  “Your duty is to the state.  You must spy on anyone and everyone and report others.”

Hitler, in 1936, established the Hitler Youth Movement, and by 1939, compulsory membership for boys aged 10 and older was established.  In our current time, Antifa groups emulate Hitler’s Brown Shirts, using the same tactics of disrupting, intimidation and violence, with the same goals of promoting a totalitarian regime.  Antifa is protected and encouraged by the same type of politicians that protected an encouraged Brown Shirts, but they prefer wearing black shirts to brown shirts with faces covered in black.  More intimating and but every bit as oppressive. 

The Black Shirts of Italy were organized by Mussolini in 1919.  He recruited ex servicemen and middle-class youth.  Also many of the poor joined the movement, thinking, to improve themselves and become masters of the upper classes.  As in Germany, thousands were killed or sent to prison camps as the Fascist squads expanded in number.   That put Mussolini in power.    According to history, the private Black shirts were officially transformed into a national militia.

Cuban officials which included members of the intelligence services, was known in Cuba as “State Security”.  It was a special national brigade of the Interior Ministry, known as “Black Berets.”  They also established government groups of civilians known as “rapid response brigades.”  All, of course, for the betterment of the State. 

So here we are 2021 and just about to enter the New Year.  So reviewing the past of Red China, Brown Shirts of Germany, Black Shirts of Italy; Black Berets of Cuba, Black of Antifia, I would like to offer one more color .  Green! 

The present administration’s “Green Movement” is nothing but a ploy and distraction to eliminate any opposing political parties and transform our capitalist nation into a socialist society.  As in the past, using and indoctrinating the youth is greatest weapon in their arsenal of tactics.  Perhaps they will establish their own “national movement’ called the “Green Shirts”! In addition, doing away with local police departments will lead to the creation of a “National Security Force”. This will be government organized groups to punish those who are disobedient to the absurd restrains on our travel, business, or our ordinary way of living. 

This all may sound too impossible to believe but what have you been seeing on TV or reading on Facebook?  Doing away with gas pipelines, using alternative forms of energy and giving us false information on climate change is just the beginning.  The climate has been undergoing chances since Genesis chapter one!  Wind turbines fail to work or do not provide enough power to be a dependable source of power.  The list goes on.

Christians and Jews are especially aware that we are to be keepers of the planet on which we live.  God gave us a mandate to not only replenish the earth but to maintain and keep it.  We must not abuse the privilege of living in His beautiful creation and by doing so, we must refrain from all damaging aspects of leaving our human garbage and refuse to litter or destroy.   

However, this is privilege must not be used to intimidate us or destroy our Democracy on the pretense of saving the planet. 

So beware of the Green Shirts!!
