The Disinformation Governance Board

George Orwell predicted this!  Despite the fact he lived a short life and died in 1954, he was able to write memorable books.  He was a man ahead of his time predicting (1) governments’ constant surveillance of the population (2) never-ending war (3) Language manipulation or “Newspeak” (4) The government will distract their real intent by dividing the population on various issues (me: racism, sexism,  abortion etc.)

 The newly created U.S. Disinformation Governance Board is a “Ministry of Truth” travesty plucked straight out of the pages of Orwell’s novel “1984.”  It almost gives one the impression that the Feds are following his writings to the letter.  It is shocking to realize how easily they can pull off the next string of restrictions and to impose controls over us. 

Sadly, many of George Orwell’s predictions have come true! We already suffer under a high-tech censorship of any contrarian views, replete with so called ‘fact-checkers” who suppress the truth of so many people and various “dangers” in our society.   Look at the numbers of people who have been deleted from Social Media….. President Trump, Mike Lindell etc. and anyone who speaks against the Establishment. 

Even Wikipedia has gotten into the act.  When looking up some political information I was confronted with truth twisting and eliminating truthful entries in its so -called “People’s Dictionary’ to support the mainstream propaganda efforts. By redefining words, as they do, people will soon enough forget that there was even another, more accurate definition of those words.  Government will tell you what is right or wrong, true or false. 

The Disinformation Governance Board (DGB) is only the latest assault against our liberties.  If the government can start telling us what we should think is ‘true” and what is “false” and then (picture this)……..criminal charges leading to fines, asset seizures, and even imprisonment, the last vintages of our Republic is gone.  

Just recently it was reported that the FBI entered into the home of a former lawyer for Trump at 4:00 AM…….taking his laptop and loads of files with information concerning the last election!  No warrant necessary…..no reading of his rights!  No knocking on the door or asking to see him………. merely breaking in as common thieves!!  All this authorized by the Government.  Or how about the Texas couple whose home was raided and the FBI put both the husband and wife in handcuffs for supposedly being a part of the group that entered the holy ground of the Capitol building on Jan 6^th.  Oh well, that’s OK.  It was the wrong couple!! 

For liberty to exist, there must be protection of individual liberties.  Without the absolute protection of individual human rights, people in democracies are only voting for their jailers. 

Whether the current administration pulls the plug on the GDB, a similar but renamed propaganda board or entity will re-appear.  It may have a different name with different faces, but it will appear again.  The Totalitarians will never stop their efforts to control us, completely and forever. 

As concerned citizens we must be prepared to counter these acts of “terrorism”.  We must continue to spread uncensored truth.  We have no choice.  Our backs are to the Wall.  There is no more room for retreat!

                                                Olympics and China

Have you been watching the Olympics?   These games have the lowest rating of any previous broadcast in recent years.  I wonder why?  I think Americans are fed up with China and their communist buddies across the world. 

The Olympics use to be about the spirit of the athletes and the country they represent.  The focus was on excellence…. being faster, highest and strongest in the world competition. Also there was the Olympian values of excellence, respect, and friendship that spoke of lifelong bonds forged in honest competition on level playing fields.  No longer.

The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics is more about promoting the Chinese Communist agenda than about nurturing the athletes.  They stifle the games by policing the Olympians’ every move, all to impress on them that they all are under a cloud of suspicion where a misstep could lead to banishment from the Games or worse.

Didn’t I hear Nancy Pelosi warn the athletes to take care and not upset things with their behavior?  In other words……take care because we can’t bail you out!!

According to the Epoch Times, the Chinese government has access to the athletes’ sensitive historical data along with real time activities, such as the athletes’ voice audio and file transfers.  The app that supplies this information includes reporting any sensitive political information transmitted by the athletes.

The Chinese government is unabashedly frank in explaining the need for this surveillance since they know how many thousands are trying to escape the totalitarian life. They will always be evaluating the conduct of athletes.  “Any behavior or speech that is against the Olympic spirit, especially against the Chinese laws and regulations, are also subject to certain punishment.”    

Even if athletes perfectly censor themselves and take care to talk of nothing in any way controversial, they know that the government may decide to invent infractions or punish athletes or their countries, as an example for all the others as the consequences of stepping out of line. The walls have ears!!!

Even if the athletes who survive the surveillance, and who haven’t been taken off the playing field by China’s gaming rules, can then participate in their respective sports.  However, none of the athletes’ own countrymen will be sitting in the stands, waving their national flags to spur them on.  The spectators in the stands will all be handpicked by the Chinese Communist Party –a final testament to who in in charge of these activities and that they have complete control of these games.

            So why did we attend anyway? 

                                           State of the Union or State of Disarray? 

In a few weeks the President will deliver his State of the Union address.  It will likely be a glowing report of his accomplishments so far.  He will be at liberty to “adjust’ the facts to suit his political agenda. But of course,  this is what most presidents have done.  However, this administration has been “adjusting” the facts for quite some time. 

Let’s take a look at how things really are.  Clearly, 2021 was marred by the virus. This alone isn’t the total problem.  Let’s look at a few of the other issues that are so disturbing to us as Americans.

I am referring to our withdrawal from Afghanistan.  Those who lead the operation of withdrawal would undoubtedly like for the rest of us to forget it.  However, it is a disgrace for our country.  Not only have we not evacuation all the Americans who are still there but we have left the radical Taliban in control to continue their oppression of those who aren’t Sunni Muslins.  God help the Christians!  

The stark reality is that this disaster destroyed our standing in the world and left us all in a more dangerous place.  We not only left thousands stranded but gave the Taliban high tech military equipment worth billions of dollars. It now seems that American blood was shed for naught. 

Inflation and high energy costs go hand in hand.  The cancellation of the XL Pipeline and the restrictions on drilling to cope with the so called “climate crisis”, have caused gasoline prices to spike and added production and delivery costs to almost all other consumer goods.  Inflation is now at the highest rate in decades and it is likely going to get worse.  The problem has been acerbated by the trillions of COVID related dollars pumped into the economy….. paying people to stay home, which in turn has left businesses across the country short of workers. 

Getting a hamburger at Wendy’s, means waiting in a long line for outside service.  No more seating inside due to the shortage of workers.  Same with our favorite Asian restaurant.  Take out only!

Domestic crime is on the rise.  This sad turn of events is fostered by defunded police departments, changes in the definition of criminal acts, relaxed penalties for crimes, and the early release of convicted felons.  The influx of illegal drugs, gangs and human trafficking across the Southwest makes it dangerous to leave one’s home.  Coming from El Paso, I can relate to the problem.  Our Mexican friends in Juarez must be terrified of even venturing into the streets.  Their very way of life is being threatened. 

All these developments as well as unexamined corruption in the government at the highest levels constitute mockery of our American democracy.   Our citizens need to listen carefully to the coming State of the Union address. Do these statements square with the actual events?

I fear we are being fed lies and half truths to further a liberal and progressive agenda.  There are powerful forces at play on gaining control of our economy, our country and our very way of life. 

                                               The New Dr. Death!

The very act of survival is usually most important to us. All life is sacred and God created within us humans the desire to stay alive.  All life is precious… from the moment of conception to death itself.  Solomon said “There is a time to be born and time to die.”  ( Ecclesiastes 3:2)

We are dealing with a pandemic which is taking lives; military people returning home with the mental anguish of their own survival while buddies died.  There are teens taking their lives because of being rejected by their peers. (Suicide has become the 10^th leading cause of death among the young.)  Thousands of drug over doses….. not only among the poor but also the rich and famous.

Those  of you who are old enough might remember the name Jack Kevorkian.  He was the first Dr Death who helped 130 patients with euthanasia.  But there is another more ominous name to remember.  This is shocking! 

Remember this name…….an Australian named, Philip Nitschke.  “We consider it a right for all rational adults to be able to divest themselves of their life.”  He happily chirps that that people will now be able to commit assisted suicide without having to get any permission.  There will be no need going to Switzerland to the  famous clinics which accommodate “suicide tourism” that is, for-pay clinics that people attend from around the world to be made dead!!           

So is society’s increasing respect of suicide becoming acceptable?  Check with Amazon and see the number of books promoting suicide.  I was quite shocked to find so many.  The sad fact is that as a culture, our societal opposition to suicide is rapidly fading. 

Could this be part of the same culture that is telling us about climate control?  Too many people means climate change……..autos using gas and more people taking up space on the planet.  Abortion on demand.  Just order a pill and get rid of the baby.  Teens are able to get pills from the nurse without telling Mom.  But you can’t give them an aspirin!

Now, the infamous Mr Nitschke has the problem solved.  Death by a pill.  For the past two decades, Nitschke has traveled the world holding seminars on “how to commit suicide.”

When giving an interview to a TV reporter, Mr. Nitschke said that he hoped to concoct a “peaceful pill,” that is, a suicide formula that would be available in supermarkets!!  “All people qualify for suicide facilitation… not just those with training, knowledge, or resources to find out how to end their life. Someone needs to provide this knowledge and recourse necessary to anyone who wants it, including the depressed, the elderly, the bereaved and the troubled teen.”   

Although Mr. Nitschke is from Australia the laws again against suicide are not enforced.  These days, assisted suicide legalization laws are proliferating, throughout Australia.  Can America be far behind?

Self destruction, per se, is no longer universally disapproved and in some cases extolled…. especially for the sick and disabled, including the elderly.  It even receives the imprimatur of the state.  Unless current trends reverse, I don’t see the ongoing suicide catastrophe ending anytime soon!!

            God help us!!!

                                      The Consequences of No Consequences.

The title of this blog is not original with me but it fits in so well with the events of the past few weeks. 

I enjoy shopping this time of year.  The decorations are lovely and the mood of the shoppers is happy and cheerful.  I had difficulty in finding a parking spot close to the store.  Perhaps there are more shoppers this year for fear of the stores being empty due to supply chain worries.

But if you live in California you need not worry.  Just put on your hoodie and your mask and go rob a store.  According to first hand reports, 50 to 60 looters, invaded Nordstrom store in Walnut Creek, CA. ….pepper spraying and punching people who got in their way, before they made off with their booty in the cars that were waiting for them. Imagine the horror for shoppers and employees!!

 Twitter reported that swank stores such as Louis Vuitton were being looted in ideologically driven San Francisco.  Isn’t that Nancy Pelosi’s district?

Public safety is literally defunct in the Bay Area and Los Angeles as well.  Evident from their actions, the district attorneys of San Francisco and L.A. have shown more sympathy for the criminals than for their victims, rich or poor.  I don’t have to remind you how this attitude has already metastasized across the country, resulting in city after city recording skyrocketing murder rates as well.  I have read where this is organized crime and not just random acts of looting.  Probably true.  

In less than a year, the incompetent and so-called ideology of CRT (Critical Race Theory) and woke have allowed criminals to invade our lives, our schools, and whatever else they see fit to demolish.  They have made America almost unlivable. 

Now it seems that we must feel sorry for the looters and thugs.  It’s not their fault.  It started with the COVID 19 as the root cause of looting incidents across the country.  Press Secretary Psaki said, “Big cities are dealing with smash and grab robberies, and a record number of police officers have been shot and killed this year.” She blamed all of this on President Trump and then added that the pandemic was also to blame.  Can someone explain that to me?   

LA’s woke laws allow looting criminals to walk free. The smash and grab gangs are back out on the streets again thanks to the city’s “zero bail” policy.  All the suspects taken into custody are  out, as a result of zero bail criteria, reported Chief Michael Moore at last Thursday’s evening news broadcast.     

Yet,  there are good signs as well, such as the Rittenhouse verdict. Poll numbers show a possible  defeat in the next election for the socialists now taking hold of our country.  However, don’t be too sure.  Many people are inline the CRT mentality feeling that white Americans must be held responsible for the sins of the fathers.  We must feel guilty and willing to pay back for the years of slavery that our forefathers inflicted on their black workers.  None of the black community today has suffered under slavery and you and I were not slave holders!!

The socialists’ world view is taking over those in our government.  They live in a kind of two tiered fantasy world.  The bottom tier is their version of the masses…….they want to exploit the violent  Antifa types and similar misfits, who think that Al Sharpton has more to offer them than Thomas Sowell or Ben Carson. 

The top of tier is, the Mark Zuckerbergs and Jeff Bezos of the world, who fly so high above the rest of us that nothing can affect them.  Burn the Nordstroms, and all the rest of them. Who cares!      

Beware of all the liberal thinking  of the elitist  mentality.  They cry and whine about the downtrodden in our society.   Raise the taxes and give the kids in school a good lesson on how to correct the past.  Down with the Constitution of our fathers.  Controlling guns will solve most problems.  Forget the courageous military.  “Take the knee” for any display of patriotism. 

It’s time we all got more involved in our country and what it means to be an true American!!!

                                                      Beware of Green Shirts.

In 1948, Winston Churchill gave a speech to the House of Commons.  He slightly changed the original quote but the meaning is still the same.  “Those who fail to learn from history are condemned to repeat it.”

In May 1966, Mao’s Cultural Revolution, the Red Guard utilized the youth to destroy old ideas, customs, habits and culture.  Anyone that spoke out against the state was punished, assaulted, lost their job, residence and finances.  Thousands were killed, or sent to prison, never to be seen again.  An entire family might be punished.  “Your duty is to the state.  You must spy on anyone and everyone and report others.”

Hitler, in 1936, established the Hitler Youth Movement, and by 1939, compulsory membership for boys aged 10 and older was established.  In our current time, Antifa groups emulate Hitler’s Brown Shirts, using the same tactics of disrupting, intimidation and violence, with the same goals of promoting a totalitarian regime.  Antifa is protected and encouraged by the same type of politicians that protected an encouraged Brown Shirts, but they prefer wearing black shirts to brown shirts with faces covered in black.  More intimating and but every bit as oppressive. 

The Black Shirts of Italy were organized by Mussolini in 1919.  He recruited ex servicemen and middle-class youth.  Also many of the poor joined the movement, thinking, to improve themselves and become masters of the upper classes.  As in Germany, thousands were killed or sent to prison camps as the Fascist squads expanded in number.   That put Mussolini in power.    According to history, the private Black shirts were officially transformed into a national militia.

Cuban officials which included members of the intelligence services, was known in Cuba as “State Security”.  It was a special national brigade of the Interior Ministry, known as “Black Berets.”  They also established government groups of civilians known as “rapid response brigades.”  All, of course, for the betterment of the State. 

So here we are 2021 and just about to enter the New Year.  So reviewing the past of Red China, Brown Shirts of Germany, Black Shirts of Italy; Black Berets of Cuba, Black of Antifia, I would like to offer one more color .  Green! 

The present administration’s “Green Movement” is nothing but a ploy and distraction to eliminate any opposing political parties and transform our capitalist nation into a socialist society.  As in the past, using and indoctrinating the youth is greatest weapon in their arsenal of tactics.  Perhaps they will establish their own “national movement’ called the “Green Shirts”! In addition, doing away with local police departments will lead to the creation of a “National Security Force”. This will be government organized groups to punish those who are disobedient to the absurd restrains on our travel, business, or our ordinary way of living. 

This all may sound too impossible to believe but what have you been seeing on TV or reading on Facebook?  Doing away with gas pipelines, using alternative forms of energy and giving us false information on climate change is just the beginning.  The climate has been undergoing chances since Genesis chapter one!  Wind turbines fail to work or do not provide enough power to be a dependable source of power.  The list goes on.

Christians and Jews are especially aware that we are to be keepers of the planet on which we live.  God gave us a mandate to not only replenish the earth but to maintain and keep it.  We must not abuse the privilege of living in His beautiful creation and by doing so, we must refrain from all damaging aspects of leaving our human garbage and refuse to litter or destroy.   

However, this is privilege must not be used to intimidate us or destroy our Democracy on the pretense of saving the planet. 

So beware of the Green Shirts!!   

                                                      Rebels With a Cause.

Most of us are aware that the state of Virginia has a new Governor.  As I followed the various news media on the results of his victory, I noted that most of the dissension was centered upon education and defunding the police. Many parents are fed up with the President and his cronies promoting and fostering ideologies that are both against Biblical principles as well as degrading the values of our democracy. The former governor was backed by the liberal branch of the Democratic party and he lost!

 I believe America has had it and the cracks in the veneer are showing.  The expression of outrage over the teaching of Critical Race Theory (CRT) and wokeism is enough to cause the majority of parents to rebel and to show their anger by electing a conservative Governor who promises to uphold the values of traditional education….. focusing on history, study of the constitution and leaving gender and race issues aside. 

Joe Biden campaigned and promised in his first 100 days in office, he would pass the “Equality Act,” but signed an executive order on “Preventing and Combating Discrimination on the Basis of Gender Identity or Sexual Orientation” on day one of his presidency.  The Equality Act seeks to obliterate biological realities, allowing anyone to self-identify into whatever sex they wish to be and force the rest of us to just go along and be polite, lest we be called haters and transphobes,  bigots and sexists etc.   

Parents are outraged on the radical educational agendas that insert trans ideology into the curriculum.  In places such as the Loudoun County school district in Virginia, a trans-identified male student sexually assaulted two young girls. 

There is a new film by producer named Gary Powell entitled, “Trans Mission: What’s the Rush to Reassign Gender?”  Yes, what’s the rush?  Why are young children being indoctrinated with sexual identity?   Somehow, there must be a fear among the so-called elite that Americans are fed up to what is really happening to us and our children. 

 The radical activists have no problem with hate speech. Parents are now identified as domestic terrorists.  Fortunately freedom of speech is a two way street and Main Street USA is rebelling.

Many high profile people are coming to the defense of free speech.   Even trans-female Caitlyn Jenner said…”This issue should not be allowed in schools.  The LGBTQ movement is not an educational issue.  It’s about “woke’ and Cancel Culture, run amok, and trying to silence free speech. “

While perusing Facebook, there was an article posted by an official of the NEA (National Education Association) maligning parents for interfering with the school’s curriculum as well as getting involved in school affairs.  A liberal friend of mine agreed.  “Teachers should be allowed to teach with no interference from parents.”  I countered that idea.  “Parents need to become more involved with the education their children are receiving……after all, we are paying for it!!

                            We all must become rebels.  We will be Rebels with a Cause. 

                                                              Is Chivalry Dead?

Perhaps you imagine Knights in shining armor.  An image of King Arthur or Sir Galahad fighting to save the lovely maiden locked in the tower!   Or some Victorian gentlemen laying down his coat in the street so  the fair lady wouldn’t get her feet wet or spoil her dress.

All this may seem rather antique to us living in the 21^st c. However, with the advent of the women’s lib movement, many of the courtesies that were bestowed on women have now become obsolete in the pervading attitudes of today’s world.    Some women regard chivalric gestures by men, such as holding open a door, giving up a seat on the bus, or paying  a bill in a restaurant as insults, as demeaning signals of oppression and male chauvinism and are happy to see chivalry vanquished by our modern age. ,

But what exactly do we mean by chivalry?  Should we celebrate it or mourn its loss?  It is really dead or is it disguised in a different look?

According to my dictionary, chivalry is a “combination of qualities expected of an ideal knight, especially courage, honor, courtesy, justice and readiness to help the weak!”  Are not these fine qualities?

Wouldn’t decent parents want to raise their sons with these virtues for living an honorable life? Wouldn’t women seeking marriage treasure a man with these attributes?  Everyone wants to be treated with courtesy…….even those women who claim they are completely independent of such niceties!!  Girls must present themselves as ladies and not lower their expectations of themselves or how they want to be treated by boys. 

Women often deplore the lack of courtesy and chivalry among men, yet they, too, must bear some of the responsibility for this decline. 

“This generation of women have become independent and headstrong, and nothing is wrong with that.  However, the problem comes when women want to be independent to the point that they don’t want men to do anything for them.” written by a 19 year old girl.  Another woman wrote…….”Men only changed because women did.  That’s because men are born to please women.  (Adam/Eve?) Modern women don’t know this, for they have been conditioned to think of men as oppressors!  Both genders are at fault here.”

Radical feminism accounts for part of this decline in male chivalry.  When a man feels unneeded he is not apt to go out of his way to meet someone else’s standards.  Women who want a man to be a gentleman must first themselves be ladies. Perhaps some of the fault lies with Mothers.  Perhaps we have neglected to raise our sons with the idea of chivalry.  From the time they are young we need to teach our sons that women are  to be treated with respect.

When I was a child, my parents subscribed to a magazine called “Highlights for Children” and featured a monthly comic strip called “Goofus and Gallant.”  Goofus was a self-centered, mean spirited kid while Gallant was polite, helpful and kind.  There was no question as to who they were…. based on their behavior. 

If we want to raise our children with these same ideals and if we ourselves want to practice them,  we must bring to bear this same clear distinction.  No one can resuscitate the ideals of chivalry, except us. 

If we want to revive Gallant we must say good bye to Goofus!.

                                                  The Final Solution.

Are you old enough to remember those famous words of Adolph Hitler about the extermination of all Jews?  This time it concerns our health choices and Big Bother mandating those choices. 

Most of my family have had two doses of the COVID vaccine.  We were given little cards that we now carry with us, although we have never been required to show them.  We still are required to wear our masks at most places but that is the choice of the business.  However, beware.  Something more ominous is appearing. 

The phrase ”pandemic of the unvaccinated” has become widespread.  We find it repeated ad nauseam in the press and on TV.  The unvaccinated among our citizens are now viewed with and referenced with the same distain as were Jewish folk in Nationalist Socialist Germany. In fact, our vaccination cards which might be promoted by the Left Progressives, would have much in common with the gold stars that were required of the Jews in Nazi Germany. 

It would not surprise me if the Liberal Left adopted a nifty six word phrase, “This Person Is Not fully Vaccinated,” to be incorporated into a fabric emblem just as the yellow star for the Jew. Of course, the best way  to display the six word phrase would be to underline each single word, yet endeavor to keep the patch or emblem concise and easy to recognize. 

I don’t regret getting my vaccine but I certainly don’t want these being mandated by the Government.  I don’t trust Fauci or Bill Gates who both have a vested interest in seeing that the whole world is vaccinated.  My research has indicated that both men are up to their financial necks in getting us all vaccinated.    Bill is currently spending millions of dollars to build seven factories to develop a COVID-19 vaccine.  Speaking on PBS, the billionaire and vaccine developer suggests the world threat of COVID-19 infection will not completely subside and lockdowns of human populations will only open up “to some degree…… until we have very broad vaccination.” Is Fauci far behind?  Don’t take my word for it.  Do some checking yourself.  You will find out that the CDC, Fauci and Gates all have financial fingers in this very lucrative pie. 

The whole COVID mess has sent this country into a downward spiral.  Every part of our daily life has been tied up with the virus.  All government entities now have more control of our lives than ever before.  I am just fearful that more problems lie ahead for us as the virus mutates into other forms.  It’s a perfect opportunity for more and more mandated control of our health choices.

How about this scenario? The Socialist Left could advocate for barracks to be constructed so the unvaccinated can be moved by rusty railcars into quarantined communities.  The fully vaccinated could then go about living the self indulgent lifestyle so prevalent in pre-COVID America, comfortable in the knowledge that a “final solution” toward addressing the unvaccinated “problem” was well in hand. 

Am I wrong?

                                         So what is the 1619 project? 

I didn’t have a clue as to this agenda.  But, in my reading I discovered this isn’t merely a type of history class.  It involves more sinister teaching than just learning American history.  Apparently, the University of North Carolina wants to add the lead essayist of the New York Times “1619 Project” to its journalism faculty. 

Let’s just say that this teaching is misleading and deceptive for their students, faculty, trustees, as well as the donor whose name is attached to the journalism school. 

That’s because the 1619 project presents a false and dishonest narrative of our nation’s history—proclaiming that “Our democracy’s founding ideals were false when they were written.”

The unfortunate truth is that this is just another example of how American colleges and universities are failing to equip their students with the knowledge and character required for useful citizenship much less for a good and happy life!! 

Many distinguished colleges began with beautiful missions, founded along the same lines as many Christian based schools and private schools such as Hillsdale College.  Maybe your alma mater is one of them. But it’s a sad fact that too many of them have departed from their founding missions and are pursuing something else.  Perhaps,  by attempting to make our Republic into a more socialist system of government……….. distorting the character of our Founders themselves.  This can be seen in the “woke” philosophy, BLM movements and CRT teaching. 

Free speech is under threat on many campuses, as conservative students are afraid to speak up and conservative speakers and faculty are harassed or even assaulted. 

We must demand that our schools teach American values based on the principles found in our Constitution.  We must teach about the sacrifices of men and women who gave their lives to make our country what it is and should be again. We need to return to saying the Pledge of Allegiance with hands on our hearts. We must teach the beauty of our National Anthem.  We need to teach American History as it was……..truly expressed in lives of its people.   We must welcome those who seek to align themselves with us and are willing to become legal citizens taking on the responsibilities of serving our country….. making our country a true melting pot of diversity but also of unity.
